Gulabo Sitabo, to premiere on 12 June, on Amazon
Amitabh Bachchan today informed his fans about the release of the much-awaited film Gulabo Sitabo through a tweet. “Kehte hain jodiyaan upar se ban kar aati hain, lekin ye priceless wali made in Lucknow hai, wrote Big B.
Highly-anticipated Hindi film Gulabo Sitabo to premiere on Amazon Prime Video India. He wrote, “Trailer out soon”.
Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Gulabo-Sitabo is directed by Shoojit Sircar.
Earlier slated to release theatrically on 17 April, the film was postponed due to lockdown but later the filmmakers took the call to release the movie on a digital platform.
While announcing for the release of the film on the digital platform Vijay Subramaniam, Director and Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video India had said, “It is the first step in our endeavour to bring superior cinematic experiences to our customer’s doorstep.”
“This is the dawn of a new era for Indian entertainment,” said director Shoojit Sircar.
Gulabo-Sitabo is lighthearted movie and a family entertainer. A quirky tale of two slimy scheming foxes, Gulabo-Sitabo, is a game of one upmanship. The film is full of humour with both of them making attempts to attract the other member of the clan to their own.
