New aircraft will be inducted on November 4
IndiGo, the only profit-making airline, is set to celebrate another milestone. The airline is all ready to welcome its 100th A320 in the 100th month of its first flight. The aircraft will touch down in Delhi on November 4.
“It’s a great moment for us and it’s a matter of pride to be the airline which is sailing smoothly when other airlines are struggling and facing strong headwinds,” a senior IndiGo official said.
While the rough sky is giving a tough time to other airlines IndiGo recently also placed an order to purchase 250 A 320 NEOs (New Engine Option) planes from Airbus.
IndiGo is India’s largest airline with a market share of 32.1 percent as of September 2014. It also boasts of more than 99.9 percent Technical Despatch Reliability. read original story governancenow
