Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has demanded for religious places in the state to open from June 1. The Chief Minister said written to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting that the state be permitted to reopen temples, mosques, churches and other religious places.
After the corona spread in the country, due to lockdown, religious places have also been shut across the country.
In the fourth phase of lockdown many restrictions have been relaxed. Flight operations, Public transport and shops have opened and the movement of people has been allowed but the religious places have remained shut.
