The Delhi government has changes its rule from no quarantine to home quarantine for those arriving in Delhi using public transports like buses, trains or flights. As per the earlier rules no quarantine was required for those who reached Delhi, they were advised to monitor themselves for the next 14, but now the rules are different. It is a compulsory quarantine for everyone.
The changes in the rule have been made post lockdown 5 which offers relaxations to people, and allows them more movements. But Delhi government also took a precautionary measure by sealing its borders and allowing movements in and out of the state, only to those who are on essential services or having a passed issued by the authorities. The step was also taken to provide health services to the people of Delhi on priority.
Delhi currently has 23,645 cases of coronavirus and120 containment zones.
