Shopping malls and places of worship will not reopen soon for the public in Gurgaon and Faridabad districts, as the danger of Covid-19 still looms large of these two districts. While malls and religious place would open in other parts of Haryana from June 8, the residents of Gurgaon and Faridabad will have to wait for longer period to visit these places as these two are the worst hit districts, Haryana, state Home Minister Anil Vij said on Saturday.
The steps to open up theses places of worship and malls are being taken under ”Unlock-1” India plan. On May 30, the Centre had announced that the country will unlock in a phased manner from June 8 onwards.
Haryana currently has a total of 3,800 coronavirus cases, including 1,600 in Gurgaon and 600 in Faridabad.
