Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, 22, has completed her degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Britain’s prestigious Oxford University.
Malala, who completed her degree from Oxford’s Lady Margaret Hall college, shared her joy on social media. She took to Twitter on Friday to share the happy moment with her fans and followers. She posted two pictures celebrating the achievement with her family.
“Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford,” wrote Malala. She posted the pic of her smudged and covered in cake.
Another pic shows her with her family members cutting a cake that reads “Happy Graduation Malala”.
She wrote “I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep”.
Malala also revealed her plans for the immediate future – lots of Netflix, reading and sleeping.
Malala’s fans and followers have been congratulating her by sending their comments on the social media.
Malala was shot in the head in the year 2012 by the Taliban in Pakistan for campaigning for girls to be allowed to go to school. She stood for the cause of women’s education. Malala became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, in 2014, for her advocacy of education.
