Kangana Ranaut becomes the first Bollywood actor to be sanctioned CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) cover. Kangana Ranaut Y-Plus security as the feud between the actress and Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut took became bigger. It all started when the actor compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Raut hit back at her in the party’s mouthpiece Saamana, asking her not to return to Mumbai for criticising Mumbai Police. The “Queen” actor challenged Raut and said she will reach Mumbai on September 9.
Kangana, has been given Y-Plus cover on basis of a threat assessment report by the Home Ministry.
Individuals are provided security cover on the grounds of threat assessment done by central security agencies. People with high-risk are provided with security by the police and local government.

Who is Provided Security Cover:
Cabinet Ministers, Chief Ministers, High Court and Supreme Court judges, leading politicians, and senior bureaucrats.
Z-Plus cover is also provided to Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited.
The CRPF also provides Z-Plus security to Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Kangana will be just two steps below them on the scale of protection provided.
