If you are a bus user, here are the Standard Operating Procedures you must take care of while using the services of the State run buses. The Haryana government transport department, on Wednesday, issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding inter-state travel in buses of Haryana Roadways.
Maximum number of passengers should not exceed beyond 30 in a bus at any time, under any circumstances. Spitting inside or outside the bus will not be permitted at any cost. Spitting would not be permitted even at bust stands or public places. The passengers will not be permitted to enter the bus without masks. The buses running on the roads have to be fully sanitized.
The transport departed has started a service to New Delhi Railway Station, the service is only for passengers boarding or alighting at New Delhi Railway Station. The employees of the transport department in the bus have to be Covid tested, with no symptoms of Covid-19.
SOPs for those using the bus services:
- Sanitizer bottles must be available in the buses at any time, to be used by the staff operating the bus services.
- Thermal screening of the passenger is must by the staff deployed.
- Staff must wear PPE kit and should be sanitized properly while doing thermal screening.
- Passenger with high temperature would not be allowed in the bus.
- Passengers must carry their identity proof and tickets, in physical form along with a photocopy of each.
- It is compulsory for the bus staff and the passengers to have ‘Aarogya Setu’ app downloaded in their phones.
- Passengers must have a sanitizer with them.
- Wearing of mask is mandatory.
- Maximum number of passenger in the bus should not exceed 30.
- Spitting inside/outside the bus would not be permitted.
