After Pune’s man seen wearing gold mask, another man from Odisha has got himself a mask made of gold. Alok Mohanty, a businessman, has fascination for gold for which he got himself a customised gold mask worth Rs 3.5 lakh. Alok Mohanty, 55-year-old, got inspiration from Pune man who had spent Rs 2.85 lakh to get his mask made of gold.
The 95-mask with delicate gold filigree work on it, took 22 days to create. It consists of 90-100 grams of gold. It also has minute breathing holes and elastic bands to make it comfortable to wear and provides a secure fit.
Mohanty is obsessed with wearing gold. For last four decades he is always seen loaded with gold jewellery always. Photos of Mohanty wearing golden mask went viral on social media. In photos he is also seen wearing other gold ornaments.
Mohanty gave interviews to local news channels and the clips went viral on social media.
