TN asks for no flight operations till May 31
While the aviation industry is India is gearing up to start its’ operations, as announced by Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday, Tamil Nadu has asked the central government not to resume flights before May 31.
On account of a spurt in coronavirus cases across the country and Chennai witnessing a rise in the coronavirus number, the TN government has asked the union minister of aviation to defer the move.
Tamil Nadu government has expressed its worries and said that because of lockdown there is a lack of public transport in Chennai.
